Overview: The Cyber Security Research Alliance, Inc. (CSRA) is an industry-led, non-profit consortium focused on research development strategy to address evolving cyber security environment through partnerships among government, industry, academia. This effort was established in response to the growing need for increased public-private collaboration to address R&D; issues in cyber security. The founding members of the CSRA are Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD), Honeywell International, Inc., Intel Corporation, Lockheed Martin Corporation, RSA, the Security Division of EMC.
Specifically, the CSRA is dedicated to working to:
- Address “grchallenges” in cyber security: Facilitate the development of R&D strategies for protecting digital content information technology networks systems.
- Track cyber security R&D activities: Enhance models for public-private information sharing collaboration to address current emerging cyber security threats to national security.
- Transfer technology: Enhance collaboration in cyber security R &D to accelerate innovation time to market for new technologies
