January 6, 2015 - Cyber Security Research Alliance Workshop Publishes Research Results for "Taxonomy & Ontology for Roots of Trust for Cyber-Physical Systems"

The Cyber Security Research Alliance (CSRA) today announced the publication of results from the "Roots of Trust for Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS)" pilot research project, which focused on building a universal common vocabulary and context for Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) Roots of Trust in order to streamline research, assessment and responses to threats in this area.

April 04, 2014 – CSRA launches cyber security research

Drexel University and George Mason University have partnered with the Cyber Security Research Alliance to advance cyber physical system security, according to CSRA press release from March 24. The research and projects developed by this partnership will provide a better understanding of cyber attacks and how to prevent them. Drexel University’s Cybersecurity Institute at the Science Center will aid as a center for research, teaching, training and a resource for industry.

The Cyber Security Research Alliance recently announced its teaming up with Drexel and George Mason University to research some of the big cyber and physical security problems in the country. Lee Holcomb, president of the alliance and deputy of Technical Operations at Lockheed Martin's Information Systems and Global Solutions, spoke with Federal Drive hosts Tom Temin and Emily Kopp, about the work the group is doing. Lockheed Martin is a founding member of CSRA.
